DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Electrocardiograph Services: We provide ECG  services on-site with availability to consult with cardiology specialists. ECGs allow us to asses the heart and catch certain heart problems earlier, which gives us a better prognosis with treatment of any heart disease that is needed. This is a non-invasive procedure, which does not require any sedation.

Laboratory: We provide in-house laboratory work as well as utilizing a national diagnostic laboratory. Our in-house laboratory provides for serum chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, parasite testing, feline and canine heartworms, feline leukemia, and FIV testing. It is important to run wellness blood work on all patients, but especially those over six years of age. This allows us to see what is going on inside of the body by evaluating organ function and bone marrow production. This can allow us to catch diseases much earlier, thus starting treatment earlier and giving your pet a better life. Even if the bloodwork is normal it gives us a healthy baseline for your individual pet if any blood work is needed in the future.

Pharmacy: We Keep a large variety of pharmaceuticals, vitamins and supplements. We also carry heartworm preventatives, flea & tick products and prescription diet foods.

Dentistry: Our dental services include cleaning, polishing, and extracting teeth. We offer dentals on dogs, cats, and exotics. Dental disease is a disease that not only affects the mouth, but can cause bacteria held in the tartar to spread through the body and even cause heart disease. With exotics, dental disease can present as not eating, not going to the bathroom, or drooling too much. Some exotics, such as rabbits and guinea pigs, have teeth that grow throughout their lives, so molar trims are important.

Radiology Services: We have modern x-ray equipment that provides high quality radiographs to aid in swift diagnosis.

Surgery:We use a laser for all of our surgeries. This allows us to perform surgery with less pain, less swelling, less bleeding, and a faster recovery time. We perform a variety of surgical procedures including, but not limited to, spays, neuters, declaws, and tumor removals. Call for more information and prices.

Microchipping: We offer permanent identification by injecting a small microchip under the skin. This is the best way to insure that your pet, if it should become lost, will be returned to you.
